PPL PHOTO AGENCY - How to select and download pictures.
Anyone can search and browse through the Library, but in order to make selections and download image files, including Rights Free images, you must first register as a user.
Searching for images
To search for pictures, simply enter a keyword or phrase in the text box above and click on the Search button.
To magnify, hover your mouse over any thumbnail.
To read caption and keyword information, Click once on the magnified image.
The key words may prompt you to search for related images. Simply select a pertinent key word to type into the search box and click the Search button.
Lightboxes
Lightboxes are folders you create within your account to keep selections of images. For example, you may want to create a lightbox of pictures of the area you live, tourist attractions, related subjects for particular projects, or to send to colleagues ans friends for them to review.
To view the current lightbox, click on 'View current lightbox' in the top menu. This takes you to the most recent selection you have made (since logging in). You can also use the dropdown menu in the top menu bar to view all the lightboxes you have made.
You can review your selection, delete unwanted images, rename the lightbox for easy recognition later, and email the selection to associates.
To make a new lightbox, first click the 'Create new Lightbox' button, otherwise any selections you make will be added to the existing lightbox. If you have just logged in, a new lightbox will already be waiting for you to fill.
Now use the search methods to find the images you want.
To select an image for your lightbox, tick the box under the image and use the link 'only add checked images to lightbox' above the display. If you require all the images within the screen then click on 'Add all these images to lightbox' above the display. You must do this for each page of results that you make selections from.
You can also add an image to your lightbox from the magnified image page using the 'add to lightbox' link on the top right hand side of the image information.

Click on each image. Scroll down and select usage from the drop-down menus, then press 'calculate'
Check details are correct, select preferred method of delivery and press 'Add to cart'

To download
Click on 'View Cart' in top menu bar.
Check details are correct and tick VAT box if you are tax-exempt.
Tick box to confirm terms and conditions
To commit to purchase selected images, click on 'send order now'
This reveals a 'Thank you for your order' page.
Click on 'click here' to download files in ZIP format.
Pay as you go users are prompted to pay by credit card.
Account holders will receive the message 'as per agreement'
